I-10's are AAU Sanctioned ... but if you participate in a USAV Sanctioned event the Head Coach/ Assistant coach or anyone sitting on the bench is required by USAV to be IMPACT certified. We strongly suggest if a team does not have an assistant coach that they certify a parent in the event the head coach is ill or ejected. Please contact Diana Farmer (notlaw106@aol.com ) for Impact certification information.

We are trying something new this year with the I-10’s.
We hope you  can be patient with us during this process.
- -
Typically the Division’s will be divided as follows- (Strength is normally determined by how a team finishes in tournaments -  in other words who they beat )   By keeping the divisions closer to team strength versus age, it will make the I-10 tournaments more competitive.  ( So for instance  a 14’s team easily beats every team in it's division  this  14's team will need to play up in a higher division to make it more competitive for that particular 14’s team , but yet not make it boring for a 16’s team, since this team should be competitive at this higher division)
- -
Division  I  - Typically 18’s  & 17’s
Division II  - Typically 16’s  & Strong 15’s
Division III  - Typically Weaker 15’s, Stronger 14’s & Strong 13’s
Division IV - Weaker 14’s & 13's
Division V- 12’s and under
- -
Division II will typically play on Saturdays at the Sunspots Facility located at 6827 Market Street  ( NMSU facility is not available on Saturdays )
Division I, III, IV, and V will play on Sundays alternating between Las Cruces NMSU location and the Sunspots Facility. (Playing site will be determined the Thursday prior to the I-10 )

FOOD AT THE FACILITY -

As you are aware there will be no outside food or drinks allowed into the facility.

We recognize that many of you prefer to bring your own lunches instead of using the concession stand (which will have breakfast burrito’s, lunch brisket, salads, hotdogs, etc…you can also pre-order if you wish to use this service ) but our designated picnic area is not ready to occupy.    Until this area is ready to occupy we will use the front parking lot of the facility and designate one parking space per participating team in the I-10’s. (This will prevent the girls / teams from having to walk across or down the street to vehicles or picnic area’s)  The following information will give you some basic guidelines that will need to be adhered to in order to use this space.

1.) One space per team (pre assigned according to your pool assignment)

2.) Team can designate one vehicle so items (food, table, chairs) can be inside   vehicle locked up until ready to use. WE strongly suggest that you do not leave your possession/ food unattended.

3.) Teams cannot block any sidewalks or walk ways into facility.

4.) If you choose to use canopy (cannot damage parking lot to tie down) Sunspots will not be responsible for any items left unattended.

5.) Trash must be picked up and deposited in dumpster.

6.) Vehicle will not be allowed to leave the parking lot until after 2:00 p.m. ( no in or outs)

We have a large area that we are planning on using as a picnic area at the facility. If your team or any parent wants to help with this process we would be delighted to have you help… just contact Jeff Farmer to make arrangements.

      PARKING IN BACK –

To help with the limited parking - Sunspots Staff and coaches are asked to park in the back of the facility  ( Please remember that our fence is not up in the back and that there is an active railroad track immediately adjacent to the parking lot )  Please do not allow your kids to go near the tracks.
