The El Paso Sunspots Volleyball Club was created and established in 1992 by Maria Romero, Craig Smith, and Myrth Mehl. The Club is now directed by Jeff Farmer and Diana Farmer with help from many other hard working board members. From December 2009 the El Paso Sunspots have had a place to call "Home" the Sunspots Sportsplex where they hold practices and local tournaments.

We are proud to say that the El Paso Sunspots has qualified more club teams for the Junior Olympics than any other club in El Paso's History. The El Paso Sunspots has also paved the way for more athletes recieving college scholarships to further their education to NCAA Div 1, Div 2, Div 3, NAIA and Junior Colleges than any other club in El Paso's History.
